NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO GREEN GEM NEW IMAGE

The Nike Air Foamposite hasn’t really been in the spotlight since the Galaxy version launched over All-Star weekend, but that may change with the launch of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Gem Green”. Spotted over at NiceKicks, the model features a gem green upper, that looks like the famous Nike Air Foamposite Copper that launched a while back. Despite the similarities, this Pro model’s iridescent upper will make for a great conversation piece. Look for the “Gem Green” to drop in July.

Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy

People have always said that Foamposite was something out of this world. Using the ‘Big Bang’ theme for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, Nike Sportswear went where no man has gone before and introduced the ‘Galaxy’ Foamposite, showcasing the colorization possibilities of the material that still stirs up lengthy conversation today. Using these types of colorways isn’t exactly new to Nike, as the non-solid color and traditional colorblocking was something done decades, but with the Galaxy being the first of such releases for Foamposites, sneakerheads are itching for what else could be in store. The release date is now reported to be Saturday, February 25th, right in time for the All-Star Weekend festivities, and will come attached with this dope ‘Remove Before Flight’ tab with the Nike Flight logo inspired by the NASA symbol. Must-have for you? Check out the extra angle below and chime in with your thoughts in the comments below

Top 15 Nike Air Foamposites of All Time

We’ve already come to terms with the fact that this feature will definitely stir up plenty of heated debates, but we’re going to bring it to you anyway. 2010 and 2011 were big years for the Nike Air Foamposite One and Nike Air Foamposite Pro. Unlike Air Jordans, Nike rarely retros any of the colorways, aside from the original neon royal blue colorway, but that’ cool because that leaves room for even more discussion when it comes to ranking them.
We’ve compiled a list of the top 15 colorways in the Nike Air Foamposite, and trust us when we tell you that this was a difficult task! With so many dope colorways, both more recently and in years past, it was hard to put one color scheme ahead of another. Check it out and let us know what you think, as we’d love to read your thoughts.

Nike Air Flight One QS

We told you back in November that the Nike Air Flight One would make a return to Nike retailers in 2012. In case you didn’t know, the shoe was made popular by Penny Hardaway before his own signature shoes started taking off.
The version seen here is dubbed the “Galaxy” as it is part of the collection crafted for the upcoming 2012 NBA All-Star Game. The shoe’s upper is composed of dark grey / wolf grey, and mint-colored tones, while certain areas, including the spheres and outsoles, which are meant to represent space and the stars, feature glow-in-the-dark characteristics. Look for this pair of Nike Quickstrikes to drop at accounts next month.

We’ve seen Staten Island based Dee and Ricky collaborate with old skool brand Pony in the past, more recently on the Pony ‘Urban Jungle’ Collection, and today we’re taking a look at the Dee & Ricky x Pony 2012 collection. Included are several new models, many of which have been fitted with loud colorways, while a few feature more conservative looks. It also looks like a wide variety of materials have been applied. Nothing else is known at the moment, but stay tuned in for more information.
